The east village has that old-time neighborhood feel. It has become extremely popular as of recent, with its many renovated and newly constructed brownstones and tenements. Residents are eagerly awaiting the completion of Hudson River Park, which will allow a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Musicians in post-punk and artists in retro help give the East Village its eclectic feel, while NYU and Cooper Union are only a 5 minute walk away.
